     I've had a few occasions to spend
time in this beautiful river valley and
village situated south of Puerto Vallarta on the Baia de Banderos. It is most easily reached by boat from P. Vallarta.
     As a wildlife photographer, my experiences were rewarded beyond my expectations on a daily basis. The Tuito River and its laguna( which enters the ocean on the Yelapa playa)
and the surrounding jungle, are rich with bird, wildflower, lizard and other life forms. The people of the village and adjacent Tuito River are warm, generous and friendly which perfectly reflects the nature of the place they live.
     I hope that I have the opportunity to re-visit this remarkable place. It tugs at my heart and mind both photographically and spiritually. If not, my memories and photographs remain as vivid and real as the first day I landed on its shore.
